We are totally into this meditation from Jenni Kayne's blog. We don't think we she thinking of using it on a wedding day, but we're thinking it makes for the perfect way to practice a bit of mindfulness and centering on your big day. Take a few minutes and go through this breathwork cycle whether it's with your bridesmaids, mother, friends or future spouse.
Take a comfortable seat or lie down.
Exhale a big breath through your mouth.
Inhale through the nose four counts.
Pause briefly at the top of the inhale.
Exhale through the nose four counts.
Repeat for five minutes.
With practice, work up to six counts and aim to practice for 10 minutes.
